Triple A Bucs Need Your Support this Sunday

This Sunday, 16th April, Kent Buccaneers’ Triple A (AAA) squad will start their season off playing at home versus last year’s AAA Postseason Finalists, London Metros.

It’s a big day for the Bucs, as we return to the Triple A league following a successful Double A campaign in 2022, where we were also Finalists in the postseason. We previously competed in the Triple A League in 2019, 2020, and 2021, which had a combination of ups and downs, with the most notable ‘up’ being that we finished the 2020 Triple A season as Postseaon Finalists, narrowly missing out on the Championship trophy by just two runs. Will 2023 be the year for the Bucs?

The recent signing of Tyler Smith attracted some positive social media attention, with it being the most viewed news article on our website to date. Read more about Tyler and what it means for the Bucs in 2023 and beyond.

Manager, Juan Ayala, will be striving to prove the team’s worth in the Triple A league. He has a tough job on his hands to secure a playoff place this year, but with the increase in pitching depth and the new additions to the squad, we are confident that we will put on a good display of baseball and push ourselves.

We would like to invite and welcome any and all spectators that are interested in attending to support the Buccaneers in our Opening Day doubleheader this Sunday 16th April. Coach Carter’s Field Sports Supplies will be present for anyone looking to stock up on baseball gear.

First pitch is at 1pm. See you there!
